What better way to start off my blog than with a little patriotic look-book series? In the next couple days leading up to the fourth, I will give you guys some outfit ideas that are appropriate for any occasion, along with a DIY that is easy and fun to create. I hope you guys enjoy this fourth of July post and will follow along while I embark on this new journey of blogging!
Denim on Denim, what a scary concept but here are some ideas that may just work!
If you all haven’t noticed yet, I am a total monogramaholic and I think that the look is a classic. Throw on a monogrammed baseball hat and it makes an outfit 10x cuter, like this fourth of July inspired outfit. I threw on my favorite baseball hat and loved it.
Add a messy fishtail braid and this look is perfect for a casual evening at a cookout with friends and a night filled with amazing fireworks!
Here’s a closer look at the two denims I wore; the top is a light washed chambray shirt from Old Navy and it is possibly my favorite go to shirt. On the bottom I went with a darker wash DKNY jean and let me just tell you, these jeans are extremely comfortable and definitely compliment a light chambray button down.
To finish the look, throw on your favorite sneakers and you’re set! I put on my red Converse to tie in with the Red, White, and Blue theme!
We have two days till the 4Th., hope everyone is as ready and excited as I am!
With much love,
