A couple months ago I was wandering around Anthropologie and I came upon a cherry print top that I just couldn’t stop thinking about. The top clearly didn’t work out but this Charlotte Russe skater dress definitely did. The excitement when I found this online and the excitement when I saw the price, was all too good to be real. Let’s be honest though, what is more fun than a cherry print or fruit on apparel? Two hands up for the fruit!
I knew exactly how I wanted to style this piece before it even arrived at my door step. With the Fall season approaching (is there really a Fall season in Texas?) I went in that direction and a created a look that is perfect for my favorite season for fashion. Some may say this is a lot. I mean the fringe, the beret, the round glasses. There are so many aspects but I kind of love the mix-match and non uniformed look that it is. Paired with over the knee boots (I have had the ones I am wearing for 5 years now. Torrid really hit it out of the park with them), it really gives it that Fall vibe.
I will say I am usually hesitant on wearing outfits like this out and about, in fear that people will stare and judge but you know what, who gives a damn. I absolutely loved it and I walked around owning it. So this is a little side note for you reading this right now. Don’t be hesitant and don’t fear the looks and judgments. Wear fruit on your dress, a beret and fringe and just be you while doing so.
Who else has two hands up for the fruit on apparel and is totally digging this cherry bomb dress?
