Everyone loves a great cheap find and if you don’t there is something seriously wrong with you. Finding an item to add to you closet at a price that hardly moves the cash in your wallet is the most exciting thing. It happens rarely for me but when it does I have to share. This black thigh slit maxi skirt was purchased at Charlotte Ruse for only $10. I knew I needed it right when I took it off the rack but was so unsure on how to style it. I paired multiple shirts with it, thinking that the outfit all together needed to be dressier, but from the help of a little Pinterest scrolling I saw a similar outfit pictured there. It was then that I realized a simple grey V-neck is the perfect match. So girls if you ever feel in a little outfit pairing rut, simply get your Pinterest on, that website is wonderful. Pinterest helped me even more than I thought. I needed something else to add to the outfit, so when I came upon a post of an outfit revolved around a flannel I went right to closet to find one that would look good. My roommates closet ended up being the key, because unfortunately I have already mentioned all my flannel finds and I needed a new one to share (flannel addict over here). Shout out to the roomie for the blue and green flannel, I kind of want to steal it. I then just added old pieces here and there. You don’t always need new items to make a new outfit. Ladies, take a look at your closet, pull out items you love and pair them with other pieces making a completely new look. Don’t get me wrong I love shopping and finding new clothing to share but taking oldies but goodies and sharing them are always okay. I always link items, so I did a little searching and found some that are similar that they are so close to being exactly the same.
Have fun this weekend and make new outfits with older items and you will be shocked at how many “where did you get that outfit from?”!
